Why a pole barn?
More appropriately called post-frame construction, this is a building technique which uses large poles buried in the ground.
This technique became popular in the 1930s with the rising need for larger, less expensive agricultural buildings.
Over time, pole barns have remained cost-effective solutions for homes, garages, storage facilities, picnic shelters, and agricultural buildings.
